Lindsay Regan GOLD at the PA Indoor State Championships

The Morning Call

Easton High's Lindsay Regan and Freedom's Lauretta Dezubay each added another gold to their collection of state wins on Saturday, leading District 11 at the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association championship.

Regan, a junior, vaulted her way to her third-straight pole vault championship while Dezubay, a senior, captured the one-mile run. The meet, which is not PIAA-sanctioned, was held at Penn State University.

''I'm very pleased with my performance,'' Regan said.

''It definitely helps me for the rest of the year because last year when I jumped this height it was at the end of the year.''

Regan cleared an indoor personal best of 13-0 and is now confident.
Her win also helped Easton place fourth overall in the team standings.

Liberty's Becki Finn took fifth (11-6) and Emmaus' Julia Green tied for seventh (10-6) in the pole vault.
