| MILLER HAS RECORD SETTING DAY |

Catasauqua senior Kyle Miller once again had the spotlight on him in the pole vault pit.
That's because once again he was the lone vaulter left trying to clear 15 feet and higher, already having secured the gold medal in the 2A pole vault in the District 11 Track and Field Championships on Wednesday at Blue Mountain High.
Miller cleared 15-0 and 15-3 on his first attempts. He missed on all three attempts at 15-6, but left with a standing ovation, a district record in hand and another automatic trip to next weekend's PIAA Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University.
