Vertical Assault
Summer School 2008

All ability levels, ages 12 and up.
 THE PROGRAM
Vertical Assault’s Summer School is an intensive program designed to benefit both beginning and accomplished vaulters. Through pole and run progressions, athletes will learn our series of vault drills adopted from the nation’s best coaches, which will lead to consistent higher vaulting. Through daily lectures and study, all athletes will also learn the fundamental principles behind vaulting, allowing a better understanding of how the vault works and when to make adjustments.

Note: All athletes will be issued reading assignments. There are 10-20 pages of required reading each night of camp, and participation in camp classroom lectures are mandatory.

Commuter - $375

 THE COACH
PROVEN RESULTS…
Coach Michael Lawryk was named 2007 HIGH SCHOOL COACH OF THE YEAR and is a certified USATF coach with over 10 years of experience. He has worked extensively with some of the nation’s best coaches and athletes.

THE FACILITIES
Vertical Assault’s Summer School will be held at Moravian college in conjunction with Moravian’s Summer Track and Field Camp. Moravian College is home to a brand new 8 lane Mondo™ track with outstanding equipment. Video and Classroom sessions will take place on campus in air conditioned, fully equipped rooms. Athletes will be housed in Jones hall, an air-conditioned dormitory located on Moravian's central campus adjecent to the track. Everyone will eat in Moravian's student hub. Athletes are supervised at all times, walk from the dorms to the classrooms and track, and are separated into all-male and all-female dorms.

 HOW TO SIGN UP
Summer School enrollment will be limited to ensure learning and small class sizes. Registration is first come first serve, so please mail you registration ASAP, DON’T GET WAITLISTED! You will need to fill out the registration application form and provide a $200 deposit. Once application materials are received, all athletes will receive a confirmation package via mail.
